Our legislative tracking list as of June 7th

Our latest bill tracking sheet for the 2017 legislative session. Of particular note: the House is expected to vote on SB 181 (related to property tax exemptions for certain nonprofits) today, and SB 327 (restoring recreational immunity) on Wednesday.

SOLC recently announced that Cathy Dombi will succeed Diane Garcia as their new Executive Director, beginning July 2nd. Dombi recently served as the Ashland Independent Film Festival’s Executive Director, and brings a strong background in outdoor education and conservation stewardship. She previously directed the City Kids Wilderness Project in Jackson Hole, WY. While we will miss Diane, we look forward to welcoming Cathy!

  • July 30th: Applications for Fineas Media Groups Paris Accord Pro Bono Video Grants are due
    • In response to the Administration’s recent withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, Fineas Media has a new video grant program for “creative and original video content to fuel an existing advocacy campaign related to climate change.”
