COLT’s weekly land trust news

November 2nd, 2015

Happy Monday folks,

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween weekend, relishing in all the soaking done throughout much of the state.

#GivingTuesday is coming up on December 1st this year. A good number of land trusts participated last year, and you can start now to tap into the movement “to celebrate generosity and to give.” I have a few resources posted below in Miscellaneous News and Information to help you prepare for a successful effort.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you during COLT’s fall board meeting, Thursday and Friday of this week. If you did not receive the email from Kelley with materials for the board meeting and expected to, please let me know.

And don’t forget our reception on Thursday November 5th at Dig-a-Pony (next to our office) from 4:30-6:30pm. Hope you can make it.

Wishing everyone a good week.

      –Mike

Don’t forget! Come celebrate conservation at a reception hosted by COLT for staff and board of our members, partners and friends of Oregon’s land trust community. Thursday November 5th, from 4:30-6:30pm at Dig-a-Pony (next to our office). At approximately 5:30pm, Oregon State Representative Lew Frederick will offer a short talk entitled, “Conservation: Not Just for ‘Environmentalists'”. The first round or two and appetizers are on COLT! RSVP to Kelley to let us know you’re coming.
