COLT’s weekly land trust news

October 6th, 2015

Happy Tuesday everyone,

Somehow, October is now happening. Happy Fall!

A good number of us are heading to the 2015 Land Trust Alliance Rally this week in Sacramento. Hopefully most of us will see each other at the regional reception on Thursday evening, from 5-6:30pm in the Convention Center.  Hope everyone has a safe trip south.

There’s a fair bit of news to catch up on this week, including the expiration of the Land and Water Conservation Fund on September 30th. The broad, nationwide coalition of partners (including COLT and a number of our members) are continuing to work towards its reauthorization. See below in the News and Information section for the latest.

Hopefully we’ll see many of you in a few days!

All the best,

–Mike
