Welcome to The Oregon I Am!
This year we are celebrating Earth Day BIG! We proud to unveil THE VERY FIRST map of all places you can visit in Oregon—thanks to the support of your local land trusts!! So cool, right?
Let the celebration begin with our brand new, gorgeous, map with stunning illustrations (thanks, Jolby!). It features 16 organizations and 81 places you can visit! Enter your name and email and you’ll have access to an English or Spanish PDF map.
We realized there was no one-stop place for people to find land trust places you can visit in Oregon. So we made one for you!
These 81 places include more than 100,000 acres—roughly the same size as the Oregon State Parks system. Add this map to the list of outdoor places you already enjoy—your neighborhood park, state parks, national forests, and even your own backyard. We’re so excited for you to explore the new resource!
How can you get the map? Share your name and email address, and you can get access to the beautifully illustrated map, available in English or Spanish.
The Oregon I Am is a collaborative celebration brought to you by your friends at COLT—and our 30 member organizations. First—we’re launching this incredible, first-of-its-kind illustrated map of places you can visit in Oregon, thanks to your local land trusts. Next—we’re hosting a series of events—including a beer launch of 8 Oregon brewers making new beers for us inspired by place. Cheers to that! Stay tuned!
And all the while we invite everyone to celebrate what about Oregon is special to you. Whether you visit a location on the map or not, share on social media with your answer to our question: What is your Oregon? Is it a place, idea, person, or memory? “The Oregon I am is ….” #oregoniam
Last but not least, we wanted to extend a HUGE thank you to our coalition who has worked so hard to launch this incredible celebration! And a special thank you to our staffer Jen and our amazing behind-the-scenes friends who brought the coalition’s vision to life:
We’re so grateful to work with you all!
And we are super excited for everyone in Oregon to enjoy this celebration of being outside and exploring this remarkable collection of Oregon places. What’s your Oregon?
Cheers,
Kelley Beamer
