The Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts’ April 21, 2021, Law Forum will feature “Essential Legal Documents for a Conservation Transaction.” Designed for attorneys, law students and conservation professionals, the law forum will provide an overview of important documents at each step of a conservation transaction and provide critical information for drafting these materials. A panel of experienced attorneys will cover many of the essential conservation project transaction documents:
- options to purchase
- purchase and sale agreements
- title review, due diligence materials such as surveys, appraisals, and baseline documentation reports
- conservation easements
- escrow instructions.
If conservation transactions are part of your practice, or you would like to expand your practice to include this area, mark your calendar for the morning of April 21.
COLT will apply for MCLE credits. The cost to attend the law forum is $100 with MCLE credits and $50 without. We offer free admission for students who are enrolled in law school and register with an active student email address.
