One great piece of news!

Today, the US Senate passed a bill 92-8 that permanently reauthorizes the Land and Water Conservation Fund  This is a huge victory for America’s most important conservation program, and COLT is very pleased that LWCF is one step closer to a secure future. In Oregon alone  the fund has provided over $305 million in conversation funding since 1965, helping to conserve some of Oregon’s most iconic places. The bill is now on to the House, and the LWCF Coalition is urging swift passage.

WE NEED YOUR HELP: Please help us thank our Senators who never gave up the fight: send a short Facebook or Twitter post celebrating today’s important vote and thanking Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley for their support and leadership. Use #saveLWCF
