Explore Oregon and Tell Your Story!
The Oregon I Am Card Game is a storytelling adventure and an invitation to explore this magical land! Take a journey through Oregon and connect with each other and to your favorite Oregon places—including those you have yet to discover—through fun illustrations, silly conversations, and beautiful landmarks!
Game Rules
Draw a Card
One player draws a card from the digital deck by clicking Draw Card and reads the question or instruction to the other players. Watch out for the red "Action" cards! To reshuffle the deck, click Shuffle then Draw Card.
Tell Your Story
Each player takes a turn responding to the prompt on the card until everyone has shared their response, except the player who "drew" the card from the digital deck.
Earn Points
The player who drew the card chooses their favorite answer and the point for that round goes to the selected player. You'll need to keep track of your own score on a sheet of paper.
Play to Win
Moving counterclockwise, the player to your right draws the next card. Repeat this process. The winner is the first player to earn 10 points!
Play Etiquette
Here are some quick tips for playing this game to ensure that everyone has a good time!
We all have our own storytelling and listening styles, different things we find fun or interesting, and unique ways in which we use our imagination. In this game, every answer is a good answer.
By sharing stories, we discover even more about our friends and family. Although there will be a winner at the end of the game, the real goal is to get to know each other better and have a good time. If you had fun, you won!
Sometimes answers don’t come as quickly, and that’s ok! There are no timers in this game. Give people the time they need to answer each question.
Some of us are introverted and could use more time and space to feel comfortable sharing stories. We can help bring out the best in each other by being kind, open, and encouraging.
Play Variants
Want to play again? Here are some play variants to spice up your next round.
Every question or instruction is read as its opposite. Up is down, best is worst, memorable is forgettable, ect!
Every answer should be something from your imagination, and not a real experience! Get wild!
Players can tell a real or a false story, and it’s up to the player who drew the card to decide which is which. If they are correct, the player loses a point. If they are incorrect, the player earns a point.
Wrong answers only!
Play the game without keeping score and use it to get to know new (and old) friends better!
Share and play with your friends and family!
